Thank you Volunteers and Donors,
A great big thank you for all that each of you did in order to make
this years' food drive a big success! After counting the poundage
forward and backwards it appears that we collected about 255,000
lbs of food ! This figure is quite an impressive collection under
the economic circumstances. We are so appreciative for all the enthusiasm
that everyone put into making the event such a success. All in all
everything worked really well, it certainly helps to have the event
repeat itself at the same venue so that we aren't required to reinvent
the wheel over again each year.
Thank you again for giving of your time and your talents to help
our community get through this very challenging year. You were and
awesome force led by our two outstanding chairmen; Jim Iacovino
& Bob Deeks. While a larger than usual amount of food has already
been distributed to the needy we will help a lot of people get through
a difficult summer with distributions starting June 2 and running
monthly until the food runs out.
