A huge Thank You to all Collier Harvest Volunteers!

Collier Harvest is an almost 100% volunteer organization with just 3 administrative staff and roughly 120 volunteers. Many of our volunteers have been with us from the very beginning starting back in 1992. They bring with them their life experiences, skills, abilities, compassion and smiles. They volunteer for many different reasons. Some were involved with food banks up north and wanted to continue this work when they moved to Florida. Other volunteers have taken over the delivery routes originally done by their parents. Newer volunteers caught the Collier Harvest bug after working a Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive. Whatever the reason, they give their time generously without any expectation of reward. We could not do the work we do without our amazing, dedicated volunteers and for this we give thanks from the bottom of our hearts!

"To the world you may be one person, but to one person you may be the world."

Volunteering with Collier Harvest
When you join Collier Harvest, you meet people who continually experience the joy of giving to less fortunate people in our area. Our volunteers come from all walks of life, but we share the common goal of eliminating hunger in Collier County.

We are always looking for individuals and groups who are willing to help us with our mission. Church groups, service clubs and businesses often commit to one day a week where a member from their group will do a preassigned food pick up and delivery. Working in this manner groups can make a difference, and no one individual commits to a schedule that may be too demanding on an ongoing basis.
